My Process

My Five-Step Process for Your Project

Here's my five-step process designed to get your project started off on the right track, and minimize the amount of time you need to spend on it.

Step One: Initial Download of Information

I'll take you through a series of questions about the project over the phone, which usually takes about 30 to 40 minutes.

Step Two: Background/Research Work

Now I review what we've just talked about, look over any reference material you provide, and formulate a list of any additional questions I may need answered about your product or service and your target audience before starting the copy.

Step Three: Writing the First Draft

I'll submit to you in about 10-14 days, depending on the size of the project.

Step Four: Over to You It's your turn.

You review the submitted work and make note of any tweaks or changes. We can also review your feedback together if you prefer.

Step Five: Revisions.

In the final step I make any revisions and submit the final copy to you. And you're never charged for revisions. All revisions are done on my time, which keeps the project fees don't climb. And that's it!

Where's My Rate Page?

I don't post a rate page because there are too many variables in each project.

It's like asking a painter how much he charges for painting your house. Until he sees how many rooms you have, how much prep work is required, what kind of paint and what colors you want to use - he can't give you an accurate price.

Each project is unique and until we can go over a least a few details I feel it is unprofessional to quote a price. I can tell you that I am not the most or least expensive. If you've seen other copywriters' rates you can put me somewhere in the middle.

My Three Principles of Success:

1. Meet or beat clients' deadlines.
2. Be professional and easy to work with.
3. Over deliver on every job.
